All career and employment services are free and available exclusively to SC4 students and alumni. Resume and Cover Letter Development and Critique Assistance in critiquing or developing a resume and cover letter that markets you well and makes you competitive in the job market. Services are available by individual appointment. Resume and cover letter critiques are also available by drop-off service and can be submitted by e-mail to Julie Ruiz, faxed to (810) 989-5775 or dropped off by visiting our office at 120 ATC Building. Please allow at least one week for review and indicate how you would prefer to be contacted. Portfolio Creation A portfolio is a hands-on resource for employers to review during the interview process, is a comprehensive collection of your work-based skills and accomplishments and is an effective job searching tool. Assistance is available with portfolio development or suggestions for improving your existing portfolio. Job Search Strategies Improve your job hunting skills. Learn how to better organize your job search and the most effective methods for obtaining job leads and connecting with employers. Interview Skills Polish your interview skills by identifying your strengths, learning more about the interview process and how to effectively market yourself in person. Personal appointments are available, as well as mock interviews to practice your skills and obtain feedback on your interview performance.
