Space still available in SC4 Summer 101 programs

Registration is still open for St. Clair County Community College’s Summer 101 programs in Port Huron.

Summer 101 is a group of classes and camps that provide hands-on learning for students in various age groups. Spaces are still open for programs in July.

Middle and high school students can enroll now for “Reach Out for College Credit.” These are 1-credit, weeklong, college-level classes designed specifically for students exiting grades 6 through 12. Topics include human cell biology, hands-on solar and wind applications, radio broadcasting, saxophone techniques and study skills.

Young athletes can improve sports skills in the summer months with Skipper Summer Sports Camps for students ages 8 to 18. The SC4 Athletic Department will instruct youth baseball, basketball and volleyball.

Registration is required for all classes. For more information, including times, locations, costs and how to register, visit www.sc4.edu/summer101 or call (810) 989-5580.
