St. Clair County Community College’s Workforce Training Institute is offering a pharmacy technician program on the Port Huron campus.

The program will run from 6:30 to 9:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 17 to Nov. 11. Prior to taking the class, students must complete a pre-assessment workshop from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, July 19.

During the 105-hour program, students will explore various pharmacy practice settings and learn about drug classes, basic physiology, drug interactions and daily pharmacy operations. The class also will prepare students to take the national certification exam.
