SC4 Alumni Golf Classic raises more than $22,000

The 22nd annual SC4 Alumni Association Golf Classic on Friday, June 4, raised more than $22,000.

The proceeds will benefit the alumni association. The money will be used for programs including scholarships.

The golf outing was sponsored by Fletcher Fealko Shoudy & Francis P.C. at Port Huron Golf Club in Fort Gratiot. Alumni association board members Doug Alexander of Fort Gratiot and Rob Carson of Fort Gratiot co-chaired the outing. Twenty-six teams completed the 18-hole scramble.

The winning foursome was SC4 Board of Trustees Chair John Adair of Fort Gratiot, Greg Smith of Port Huron, Mike Smith of Fort Gratiot and Rob Patterson of Fort Gratiot. The last-place group was Jan Rose of Port Huron, Pam Ruthenberg of Melvin and Debbie Shafranski of Fort Gratiot.

Scott Brickey of Burtchville Township won the putting contest. Brian McIvor of Livonia and Sue Haddad of Port Huron won the straightest drive contest.

All golfers enjoyed a buffet lunch before the shotgun start and hors d’oeuvres after golfing.
