SC4 to offer supply chain technologies program

St. Clair County Community College's Workforce Training Institute will offer a supply chain technologies program this fall on the Port Huron campus.

The supply chain technologies program is designed to quickly prepare people for entry-level employment in the transportation, distribution and logistics industry as a shipping, receiving or traffic clerk.

The program will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Aug. 16 through Sept. 23. When completed, students will be prepared to sit for the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) and Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) exam and Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) exams.

Prior to taking the class, students must complete a pre-assessment workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, or Tuesday, July 20.
