SC4 summer programs offer arts, science, sports

Registration is open for St. Clair County Community College’s Summer 101 programs in Port Huron. Classes fill quickly.

Summer 101 is a group of classes and camps in July that provide fun, hands-on learning for students in various age groups.

Middle and high school students can enroll for “Reach Out for College Credit.” These are 1-credit, weeklong, college-level classes designed for students exiting grades 6 through 12. Topics include science, technology and performing arts.

Young athletes can improve sports skills with Skipper Summer Sports Camps for students ages 8 to 18. The SC4 Athletic Department will instruct youth baseball, basketball and volleyball.

Registration is required for all classes. For more information, including times, locations, costs and how to register, visit www.sc4.edu/summer101 or call (810) 989-5580.
