SC4 students awarded Kovach scholarships

Two St. Clair County Community College students have been awarded a Robert and Marilyn Kovach Scholarship for 2010-11.

The scholarship is given to students who meet certain criteria, which include being a graduate of Yale High School with a minimum 2.5 high school grade point average. The recipient also must be enrolled at SC4 for at least six credit hours and maintain a 2.0 grade point average.

The students and their awards are:

  • Devin Porrett of Yale, $1,150.
  • Joshua Zimmerman of Avoca, $1,150.
