SC4 student awarded Binda scholarship

St. Clair County Community College student Joel Smith of Port Huron has been awarded a Guido and Elizabeth Binda Scholarship for 2010-11.

The scholarship is available to students who have shown interest or who have displayed an outstanding talent in the arts, including painting, sculpture, architecture, music, drama, dance and literature. Recipients must be full-time students with a 2.5 grade point average and be residents of the SC4 district.

The award is $400.
