SC4's The Spiral Studio to feature student work

As a special event for May and June, St. Clair County Community College's The Spiral Studio will showcase SC4 student award-winning work featured in the 52nd edition of Patterns, the college's literary and arts publication.

Patterns is the longest continually published community college literary and arts magazine in the state. The writing, art and photography work of 42 selected students is featured in the publication this year.

The Spiral Studio is 300 square feet of workspace at Studio 1219 in Port Huron for SC4 students, faculty and alumni. Generally each month, an SC4 art instructor or alumni artist is featured working in the studio.

SC4 students and alumni are welcome to use The Spiral Studio to create their own work, converse with the guest artist, and network with fellow students and artists at Studio 1219. The public is welcome to visit and discuss art with The Spiral Studio artists.

The Spiral Studio and Studio 1219 hours are noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
