SC4 honor society advisors recognized for leadership

Advisors for the Lambda Mu chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society at St. Clair County Community College were recognized for chapter leadership during the 92nd annual Phi Theta Kappa International Convention.

SC4 students and alumni attended the convention, which was April 7 through 10 in Orlando, Fla.

The chapter received:

A Paragon Advisor Award for Lambda Mu Advisor and SC4 instructor Angela Heiden of Emmett Township.
A Distinguished Advisor Award and a Regional Coordinator Emeritus award for Lambda Mu Co-advisor and SC4 Professor Thomas Obee of Columbus Township.

SC4 students who attended included Natalie Baxter of Port Huron, Christine Day of Port Huron, Rachel Kearney of Port Huron, Greg Lane of Avoca and Dan Wiley of Port Huron. Alumnus Daniel Martiny of Port Huron also attended.
