St. Clair County Community College senior accountant Michele Simmons has passed the national Certified Public Accountant Examination and is now a Certified Public Accountant.

Simmons has completed all of the requirements, including 2,000 hours of audit experience.

Simmons of Marysville has worked at SC4 since 2008. She previously worked at the accounting firm of Stewart, Beauvais and Whipple P.C. in Port Huron.

She earned a bachelor of accountancy degree and master of science degree in accountancy from Walsh College.
