SC4 Student Government officers elected

St. Clair County Community College students have elected Student Government officers for the 2010-11 academic year following voting Wednesday, April 7, and Thursday, April 8.

The officers are:
  • President — Chuck King, 50, of Port Huron.
  • Vice President — Rachel Kobylas, 25, of St. Clair Township.
  • Secretary — Kaitlyn Graw, 19, of Port Huron.

King is Student Government vice president for 2009-10, assistant program director for SC4 radio station WSGR-FM 91.3 and a member of SC4’s Lambda Mu chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.

Kobylas is staff writer and photographer for SC4’s Erie Square Gazette and a member of SC4’s Lambda Mu chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.

Graw volunteers for In-House Hospice in Port Huron.

The terms for all three officers will begin at the start of the spring semester.

Student Government promotes and sponsors a wide range of activities throughout the academic year and serves as the formal voice for the student population.
