Aamjiwnaang Tribal Elder Stanley Jackson exhibits artifacts during St. Clair County Community College’s Celebration of Native American History and Culture on Tuesday, April 6. About 200 people attended the event, which examined the rich tradition and history of Native Americans who inhabit the Blue Water Area. In addition to morning, afternoon and evening presentations, Native American artwork and exhibits were on display all day. The event was presented by the college’s International Cultural Education Committee and Diversity Advisory Council, as well as the St. Clair County Regional Educational Service Agency.
